My name is Moiz Saleem, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Bristol ,and I have a particular interest in quantitative finance and its potential to drive innovation across financial markets.

My academic background has given me a strong foundation in both pure and applied mathematics, alongside practical experience in programming and data analysis. I’m especially passionate about developing and optimising algorithmic trading strategies, and I’m fascinated by how mathematical modelling, probability, statistics, and machine learning can be used to solve real-world problems in finance and beyond.

🥈Second place at QHack 2025🥈 Solo project using QAOA to optimize escape routes in a bank heist scenario. Implemented 3-layer quantum circuits with Qiskit, achieving 95% approximation to classical algorithms across 50+ test simulations.

AI agent designed to play the Scotlandyard boardgame, implementing Dijkstra’s algorithm and a Mini-Max game tree to optimize the AI agents winning performance based on a custom scoring function.
